Antique French porcelain cabinet plate featuring a finely hand-painted portrait of King Louis XVI in royal dress, signed Debrie. The portrait is framed by a delicate pink ribbon-and-laurel border, with a scalloped form and hand-gilded rim.

The reverse bears S.46, Sèvres 1846, Château de St. Cloud, and Ovington Brothers Co., New York retailer marks. This combination is commonly found on 19th-century Sèvres-style royal portrait plates rather than documented Sèvres factory pieces.
