Elegant Edwardian beauty seated with a bouquet, rendered in Fisher’s fluid charcoal-and-wash style—wide plumed hat, off-the-shoulder gown with cascades of pleats and ruffles, the poised, modern counterpart to the Gibson Girl.

Medium: Photomechanical print (halftone/gravure after a wash drawing) on wove paper.

Imprints: Facsimile signature Harrison Fisher in the plate at lower right; “Copyright 1906 by P. F. Collier & Son” printed at lower left.

Presentation: Matted and glazed in a period gilt frame with black liner.

Condition (print & frame): Paper with scattered tiny foxing flecks and faint overall toning; image strong and crisp. Frame shows minor wear and rubbing to the gilding consistent with age; clean under glass.

Notes: Fisher was Collier’s star illustrator in the 1900s–1910s, celebrated for his “American Beauties”—fashionable portraits that defined Belle-Époque/Edwardian taste and followed Charles Dana Gibson’s iconic “Gibson Girl.”
