Loft of Echoes began as Jane’s Upcycle—a small NYC workspace, a sander, and a simple goal: make old pieces look new. We chased before-and-afters until the furniture itself slowed us down. Hand-cut dovetails, faint maker’s stamps, notes tucked in drawers—every other piece pulled us into its history.We realized many antiques don’t need reinvention—just repair, preservation, and respect. Tighten the joints. Mend the veneer. Clean and protect the original finish. Let the patina speak. That shift moved us beyond “just furniture” to the world we love most: primarily American & European antiques, paired with vintage decor—lighting, mirrors, marble and brass, art, and objects—so rooms feel collected, not staged.Along the way we met people who cherish family stories and others newly in love with antiques. They didn’t want trends; they wanted homes that carry history. That’s our work now: we research, source, and lightly restore, then help you curate interiors that look beautiful because they’re built on time and craft.Loft of Echoes is a team of life partners.
