Finely executed bust of a youth with earring and pendant, after the popular “Neapolitan” type; smooth, luminous flesh tones, crisp eyelashes and hair, and a high, even glaze. Reverse with graphite title “Neapolitan Boy” and a signature. The back also shows an impressed “KPM” over size code “F5”—this impressed KPM is the German plaque-blank mark used by factories such as Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur.
